What Is PPF?

It’s a clear, self-healing film that is applied to the exterior surfaces of a vehicle.
When installed correctly, XPEL’s PPF shields the paint from various forms of damage, including the following.

• Rock Chips. Our films prevent your vehicle from being adversely affected by this frustrating form of damage caused by road debris. PPF works to absorb the impact to preserve the paint.
• Scratches. Your vehicle can pick up this damage by scraping against tree branches or simple bumps when closing your door when parked. PPF acts like a sacrificial barrier to ensure minor scuffs don’t become larger problems. When the sun heats up your vehicle these minor scratches and swirls will self heal from the film.
• Insect Acid. Bug splatter can be surprisingly corrosive to paint. PPF makes cleanup easier and protects against the acidic residue left behind by insects.
• Ultraviolet Rays. The sun’s UV spectrum can cause fading and other damage to your factory paint. Our PPF blocks these rays, working to preserve the color and shine on your vehicle.

Why Invest in Paint Protection Film?
Investing in PPF is a smart decision for several reasons. When you have a well-maintained vehicle with our product installed, it can potentially command a higher resale value because the exterior paint is preserved. You also receive added peace of mind knowing that the car’s paint is shielded from the day’s potential hazards. It is a cost-effective solution when looking at your overall maintenance costs.
